On my side of the bed, half on the floor. My duvet cover? In the linen closet. The best I can say is that Home Outfitters has some duvet covers by Nautica that aren't completely horrible. And that's really the best I can say. They're cotton and they're kind of sporty-plain (and you had best like navy, red and/or white), but we were given one as a wedding gift and it's held up pretty well. Yeah, I'm not much help, either. So even if I didn't buy mine, making it would be easy peasy. I am of no help at all. Sigh. One suggestion, if you want to make your own, is find two flat sheets one size up from your bed, and sew them together, put in a zipper, et voila -- instant duvet cover. Really. The search for a decent duvet has been a source of silent and intense frustration in my house. I love Calvin Klein and Dwell, but refuse to pay for them. Sometimes Pottery Barn has something I like, but not always. Crate and Barrel is hit and miss. IKEA is the same. Target occasionally has something almost, but not quite right. I feel convinced that the answer is to make my fortune and then buy a billion dollar bed set. Good luck to you on the duvet search! I know the feeling. Really.
