Thirty in Thirty

CinnamonOpus posted the other day about a blogger who has pledged to write thirty posts in thirty days, and wants to see others take up the challenge.

So, okay. I’m apparently in, because, well, why not?

The blogger has a list of rules and regulations to which he vows to adhere. I’m not planning anything so lofty, which is why I’m violating his very first rule, and writing the first post about posting thirty posts in thirty days. Take that!

Also, while I”m in here, I’ll tell each and every one of you (that’s a whole, what, three people?) that you should watch Andy Barker, P.I. It has Andy Richter and Tony Hale and I haven’t enjoyed a new show so much in a long time. The first episode was fabulously funny (not only because of its obscure movie references). I’m telling you to watch it because something that funny cannot possibly last. It never does. It’s the kind of thing I catch in reruns when they don’t have anything to fill a time slot, and then discover a week later that it’s gone forever, to that Green Room in the Sky.

Yay! Good for you! I look forward to reading your 30-in-30. Maybe it will keep me motivated too!

And breaking rules right off the bat — you REBEL you! *wink* I didn’t really set any firm rules for myself, either. I just am aiming for 30 good posts, and anything beyond that is gravy. I am thinking of it as a workout plan for my writing muscles. (which, hopefully, won’t go the way of my treadmill which periodically becomes a big electronic clothes hanger)

I think thirty good posts is definitely something to be proud of, and it’s pretty much my aim, too. It’ll take me right up to vacation! I cant’ think of a better way to count down.
