The guys next door are getting their roof done, and as I walked past the house yesterday I heard this comment:
“He was a dedicated worker. He showed up. He was fifteen minutes early. He had his own smokes. He was great.”
A part of me wishes my former bosses considered those three characteristics a mark of dedication.
