It’s starting to look like spring here, and pretty well everyone in the home office is happy about that. Len might be the exception, since snow happens to be one of her very favorite things. All winter, on nearly every walk (with the exception of the days that were so cold we ran), she’d flop down in a snowdrift, scoot along on her belly, roll a little, and surface with a perfect pile of white on the end of her nose. This last week, she’s launched herself halfway up various front lawns in search of the white stuff, and is sorely disappointed to discover the harsh, icy crust on top. Her disappointment is only marginally lessened by the myriad new smells rising from the newly uncovered ground.
