Wow. Easter already!
Things have been busy around here. I’ve been up to my eyeballs the past couple of weeks in some exciting new projects, and as always, new stuff means learning about new topics – wealth management, what teenage girls like on the internet, the history of the first settlers in the Calgary area. Botox. Next week I’ll be exploring wireless antennas, and possibly someone’s “green” program.
It’s all good, but all that thinking can really tire a girl out. So I’m happy it’s a long weekend.
So far all I’ve accomplished is one dog walk, one fabulous noontime yoga class, and a trip to My Favourite Ice Cream for a split (Nanaimo Bar and Cherry Custard, which I totally did not need but enjoyed immensely). I had big plans for today. I was going to make hot-cross buns from one of my favorite blogs, Dinner with Julie. I was going to make my kitchen sparkle. I was going to do all the laundry and finish cleaning off the tile in the front entry.
I still have time for the kitchen, the tile, and a load of laundry, but the buns will have to wait for another day. Today’s slipping by too fast, and I don’t have time to wait for them to rise. Tomorrow’s out, since I won’t be here all day. Maybe Sunday.
I have big plans for Sunday, too.
