Confessions from the Home Office

Hi. My name is Fiona Wren. I’m a freelance copywriter based in Calgary, Alberta. I produce copy for Web sites, newlsetters, e-mail campaigns, banner ads, voice-overs, brochures, radio spots, advertorials, and packaging for clients in a variety of industries.

For more than a decade, I have written for leading companies like Mercedes-Benz USA, Dell, Del Monte, Savvion, Haworth, and Procter & Gamble, covering topics as diverse as healthcare fundraising, information technology, pet care, and laundry. In addition, I have published articles and fiction in several magazines. I’ve produced copy for: radio spots; prints ads; packaging; banner advertisements; newsletter articles, editorial and strategy; e-mail campaigns; advertorials; and, of course, Web site copy, including copy for search engine optimization (SEO).

When I’m not collaborating with a client, I’m pursuing my stereotypical (but totally worthwhile) writer’s dream: a novel. And, occasionally, when I think I have something worthwhile to say, updating my blog, Confessions from the Home Office.
